Celebration Fundraising Concert

As part of our 170th Anniversary Celebrations we held a fundraising Concert on Saturday 10 March. This was a magnificent success and we give all thanks and praise to God for the way this all came together so well.

We raised an astonishing £3300 purely through donations. On the Sunday we continued the Celebrations with our Anniversary services, guest speaker Rev Dr Bill Allen, and our Gift Offering on the Sunday raised a further £4630. Together with Gift Aid and further donations since received from friends from around the region & country, this now totals over £10,000!! 

The funds raised will go towards the cost of our redevelopment. 

All our Members and Friends wish to give our grateful thanks to everyone who have sent donations or attended the concert to make this such a wonderful and blessed event.

We also wish to express our thanks to the Hunslet and City Councillors, for their £500 contribution of MICE money which covered costs incurred for the publicity of the concert and the hire of a minibus for the transportation to and from the airport of our guests from Latvia.
