Hunslet Baptist Church is 175 years old and we have been working hard for several years on our redevelopment project to create a centre for our community. As the church remembers its past it is also looking to its future in Hunslet.

towards the cost of our Way Forward Project

Previous
GRANT AWARDS
Beatrice Laing Foundation & Garfield Weston Foundation both awarded our project £2000 and £10,000 respectively towards the Phase II redevelopment work. Grateful thanks go to the Trustees of this fund in sharing our vision for our community and bringing us closer towards our goal of raising £270,000 to complete this work.
We were also awarded
£87,900
from
Veolia Environmental Trust
which has now allowed us to complete Phase II to create a Centre for the Community

GREEN LEEDS
LIMITED
Following an award of a maximum grant of
£65,450
from Biffaward and Green Leeds Ltd Phase I of our project was completed in 2008
Together with grants from The Church Urban Fund, Yorkshire Historic Churches Trust and Allchurches Trust, this has enabled us to carryout all the external repairs.
