Hunslet Baptist Church is 172 years old and as it remembers its past it is also looking to its future in the Hunslet community.

Redevelopment Project

GRANT AWARD

GREEN LEEDS 
 LIMITED

Following an award of a maximum grant of

£65,450

         from Biffaward and Green Leeds Ltd    Phase I of our project  has now been completed

Praise God!

Together with grants from The Church Urban Fund, Yorkshire Historic Churches Trust and Allchurches Trust, this has enabled us to carryout all the external repairs. This is the first step to making our historic Grade II listed building a place of welcome to our community.

We have also now been awarded

£51,900

from

Veolia Environmental Trust

which when further funding is secured will allow us to begin Phase II to create a Community/Conference Centre including a  Childcare Facility*(see below)

 We will continue to step out in faith to raise the remaining funds needed to fulfill this vision see The Way Forward for further details
